Brazilian Alliance

Need to talk with an attorney?

Welcome, Bem-vindo, Bienvenido

We come from many countries and make our home in America.

Brazilians and other Portuguese-speaking immigrants in the San Francisco Bay Area are a small and caring community. We set up the Brazilian Alliance for everyone. It is our way of making a difference in our new home.  And we make a difference by being different. Brazilian Alliance is a nonprofit Community Law Firm. We don't just "help" you. You are our client. Getting a result for you is what matters.

Based at 30 N. San Pedro Rd in San Rafael (next to the Civic Center) we provide access to reasonable cost legal and social services. Call us today. (415) 472-2950 or email.

Immigration

Our Immigration Law Office is here for you. Whether you want to Naturalize and become an American Citizen, adjust your status and become a Permanent Resident, help a family member immigrate, need help with a Non-Immigrant visa, or you would just like to talk safely and confidentially with a lawyer about your immigration status and options.

Family and other legal problems

Our Family and Civil Law Office can help you through other difficulties you may face - Divorce, Child Custody, Business, Housing and Workplace problems. We may be able to take your case, or advocate for you and help you find your way through the legal maze to the attorney or support organization that can help you. It is always worth coming to us for a consultation and sharing your issues with a Brazilian Alliance Attorney.

Criminal issues

We are not a Criminal Law firm. However, non-citizens who face criminal charges have the extra problem of ICE and the risks of deportation. Your criminal attorney should include an immigration consult as they prepare your case. And the consequences for you can be so severe, that a second opinion is worth getting.

Education

So many legal issues can be solved by empowering you. Our Education Program is as important as our Law Office. We support the empowerment of our community to thrive by providing legal advice, education to families, advocacy toward affordable housing and the availability of health care. We work towards integration through our English as a Second Language and Civics programs. And we always welcome invitations to speak to community groups, and to help other nonprofits achieve their dream.
